Michael Perez has been traded to the New York Mets for cash considerations.
The Mets are in need of catching and will look to Perez to provide some depth. He could be in the mix for regular playing time along side Tomas Nido and Patrick Mazeika. He has a .150/.209/.318 slash line on the year.
