Fantasy Impact
Crismatt, who turned 31 on Christmas Day, has pitched for the Cardinals, Padres, Diamondbacks, and Dodgers in his six big league seasons. He enjoyed his most success with the Padres during the 2021 and 2022 seasons when he appeared in 95 games and posted a 3.36 ERA with 136 strikeouts in 148.2 innings. He has only appeared in 27 games in his other four seasons at the big league level. His experience and his career ERA of 3.76 suggests he does a chance to claim a spot on the Rangers' opening day roster as four of the team's relievers from last year have already left via free agency.
The Diamondbacks sent RHP Nabil Crismatt outright to Triple-A Reno.
Fantasy Impact
Crismatt passed through waivers after being designated for assignment. He'll remain in the Diamondbacks organization.

Despite posting a 3.12 ERA and 1.19 WHIP with 17 strikeouts in 26 innings across five starts, Crismatt will return to the bullpen. With two days off in the last week and a half of the season, the Diamondbacks have opted for a four-man rotation.
