The Astros have reinstated infielder Nick Allen from the injured list ahead of Monday's series opener against the Twins.

Allen has been on the IL with a Grade 1 hamstring strain since June 8 but will return after getting into some rehab games over the weekend. The light-hitting infielder hit .250 with a homer and a stolen base across 70 plate appearances prior to hitting the shelf.
