Omar Alfonzo reassigned to Pirates' minor league camp
Omar Alfonzo has been reassigned to minor league camp by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Fantasy Impact
Alfonzo went 2-for-7 with a home run in limited action this spring. The catcher/first baseman is a career .241 hitter with 35 home runs in nearly 1,400 plate appearances in five minor league seasons. He played in 49 games for Double-A Altoona last season and hit just .218 with the Curve. He'll likely open the season there.
