Oneil Cruz homers, swipes two bags Saturday

Oneil Cruz went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a pair of stolen bases on Saturday, lifting the Pirates to a 10-9 win over the Twins.

Fantasy Impact

Cruz' only hit of the game was a three-run homer off of Bailey Ober as part of a six-run second inning for the Pirates. He reached on a fielder's choice and stole second in the sixth and walked and stole second in the eighth. Cruz now has 13 home runs (sixth in the NL) and 19 stolen bases (second in the NL) this season. He is batting .320 with three homers and three stolen bases over his last seven games and has his average back up to .258 on the season. His power/speed combination makes him a must-roster player in fantasy, but he is very streaky. When's he good, he's very good - when he's bad, he's very bad. Right now, though, he's on a heater.
