Owen Caissie has been traded from the Chicago Cubs to the Miami Marlins, along with two other prospects, in exchange for righthander Edward Cabrera. The deal is official and all physicals have been passed.

Caissie is the headliner of the package being sent to Miami from Chicago as the power-hitting outfielder was the top prospect - and 47th overall according to MLB Pipeline - in the Cubs' organization.
