The right-handed slugger has belted 88 career home runs in 1,473 plate appearances but has batted just .209 in his career. Between 2021-23 with the Cubs, Wisdom hit 76 home runs in 337 games but also struck out in 37% of his plate appearances. Given his plus-power, Wisdom could get some at bats with Seattle in 2026, but he is likely destined for Triple-A Tacoma to begin the year.

Wisdom's MLB experience and his power should give him a shot to make Seattle's opening day roster, especially if Eugenio Suarez leaves via free agency.
