Paul Gervase has been optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The righthander made his major league debut last season, combining for a 4.32 ERA in 8.1 innings with the Rays and Dodgers. However, he has walked 96 batters, so he will continue to work on his command at Oklahoma City to open the season.
