PJ Morlando, the Marlins’ 2024 first-round pick, underwent ulnar nerve transposition on his left elbow and will miss 8-10 weeks, per team updates.
Fantasy Impact
Morlando, a 19-year-old outfielder, faces a brief setback post-surgery but should return by late May. The Marlins’ top prospect retains a bright outlook, making him a prime dynasty league stash despite this early delay.
PJ Morlando (back) is included on Miami’s roster for the March 14 Spring Breakout game against St. Louis prospects, per team reports.
Fantasy Impact
Morlando, 19, began his pro journey with Single-A Jupiter on Aug. 2 but was halted by a lumbar stress reaction—his Spring Breakout placement signals a clean bill of health for 2025. Fantasy managers in dynasty leagues can tag this outfielder as a deep prospect stash; his brief 2024 glimpse keeps him off redraft lists for now.
