Ronny Henriquez (elbow) will miss the entire 2026 season after undergoing UCL reconstruction with an internal brace surgery, as reported by MLB.com's Christina De Nicola.
Fantasy Impact
This is a big loss for the Marlins and their bullpen as Henriquez enjoyed a breakout season in 2025. The 25-year-old righthander appeared in 69 games for Miami and recorded a 2.22 ERA, striking out 98 batters and allowing only 53 hits in 73 innings. He finished tied for 11th among all MLB relievers with 26 holds and was tied with Edwin Diaz for second among NL relievers with his 98 strikeouts. Henriquez, who also added seven saves, punched out 32.4% of the batters he faced. Fantasy owners who were thinking about Henriquez as a sleeper for saves will have to look elsewhere in 2026.
Ronny Henriquez allowed two earned runs on two hits and a walk while striking out one in one inning of relief during the Marlins’ 4-3 win over the Padres.
Fantasy Impact
Henriquez picked up the win despite a rocky frame, pushing his ERA to 3.00 across 48 innings. While his strikeout rate remains solid (66 Ks), inconsistency and recent control issues keep him off the radar in most formats outside of deep holds leagues.
Ronny Henriquez tossed a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a 4-1 win over the Twins on Thursday. He did not allow a baserunner while striking out one.
Fantasy Impact
Henriquez was credited with his fifth save in seven chances after Thursday's win. The 25-year-old now has a 4-1 record, 2.79 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 58 strikeouts over 42 innings of work. He continues to establish himself as a solid fantasy closer thanks to his excellent strikeout rate.
Ronny Henriquez pitched a perfect eighth inning, striking out two in Tuesday’s shutout victory.
Fantasy Impact
Henriquez now holds a 2.85 ERA and 1.22 WHIP over 41 innings with 57 strikeouts. He continues to flash swing-and-miss stuff and is carving out legitimate value in SV+HLD leagues and as a ratio-smoothing option in deep formats.
Ronny Henriquez struck out one batter in a perfect inning to earn the save in the Marlins' 6-4 win over the Diamondbacks.
Fantasy Impact
Henriquez was given an opportunity to close out the ninth inning and delivered a clean frame without allowing a hit or walk. He has seen increased usage in save situations, logging two saves over the past 10 days. Following Sunday’s outing, Henriquez owns a 2.93 ERA and 1.25 WHIP through 37 appearances this season, along with three saves and 11 holds.
