Ryan Feltner picked up the loss after allowing five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out five in six innings of Thursday's 6-4 loss to the Giants.
All five of Feltner's earned runs came in the second inning, but he was relatively solid besides that. However, this is just the latest of his struggles, as the righthander has a 6.66 ERA in September to go with a record of 1-3 and a WHIP of 1.48. He will look to end the season on a high note against the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Feltner had a good game on the mound by Coors Field's standards, going five innings for his second straight start. On the year, the 26-year-old has a 5.91 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP to go along with 75 strikeouts in 85 1/3 innings pitched. His next start will come on Thursday against the Giants.

Feltner continues to struggle on the bump, as this was his second straight start allowing four earned runs. The righthander's ERA has ballooned to 6.12 in 75 innings pitched, leading to a 2-8 record. He should not be rostered in fantasy when he takes on the Cubs next weekend.

Feltner has had his strikeout stuff working for him as of late, as this is his second straight outing with seven K's.
