The 25-year-old broke camp with the Tigers but limped to a disastrous .111 average (2-for-18) with seven strikeouts against zero walks in that time. He's been much better at Triple-A, however, with a .300 average alongside three homers, two stolen bases, and a .982 OPS across 34 trips to the plate this season.

Kreidler, 25, is one of many players in Tigers camp competing for reps at third base this season. The single raised his spring average to just .222 in the early going. After posting a .763 OPS in 56 Triple-A games last season, Kreidler struggled to a .477 mark in a 26-game audition with the Tigers down the stretch. He has a solid power/speed track record in the minors and should at least get some looks at the hot corner with the Tigers in 2023.

Kreidler has spent much of 2022 injured with a fractured finger. After a breakout 2021, many thought he could make the team out of camp. He has slashed .213/.352/.411 with eight home runs this year in Triple-A.
