Sloan, ranked third among Mariners' prospects and 60th overall according to Baseball America, made his professional debut last season with Seattle's organization. The 20-year-old combined to go 2-4 with a 3.73 ERA in 21 starts across two levels, reaching High-A Everett. He posted a 90:15 K:BB ratio in 82 innings. Sloan will continue to get work at the lower levels in 2026 and is likely a couple of seasons away from being a factor with the Mariners.
