Haggerty suffered the injury while stealing a base in the ninth inning of Monday's loss to the Detroit Tigers. He needed help off the field from manager Scott Servais and an athletic trainer and had crutches at his locker post-game. An MRI is scheduled for Tuesday, but the Mariners are likely to be without Haggerty to begin their three-game Wild Card series this weekend.
