Dubin, 30, spent most of his career in the Astros' organization before being acquired off waivers by Baltimore last September. In parts of three seasons with Houston and Baltimore, the righthander has a 4.81 ERA in 88 career innings. He does have experience has both a starter and as a reliever and he could be given an opportunity as a swingman on the Diamondbacks' roster with a good spring.
