A's OF Skye Bolt will miss at least the next 10 days after being placed on the IL on Friday with a patella subluxation in his right knee.
Bolt hasn't provided a ton of fantasy value this year, hitting a tad under the Mendoza Line at .198 with just four home runs. It's unlikely he was rostered in the first place, but now with this injury he can safely be dropped for a healthier option during this stretch run.
Skye Bolt went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and a single in Monday's 7-5 win over the Astros.
Bolt picked up his third home run of the season in his 20th game of the year on Monday. In his limited playing time, the outfielder is hitting a measly .231 with an OPS of .690, which leaves him off of all fantasy rosters no matter the format.
Skye Bolt went 1-for-3 with his first home run of the season in a 5-2 loss to the Rangers Wednesday.
Bolt has only appeared in 12 games this season. He is slashing .152/.176/.242 with one home run, one RBI, and two stolen bases. He should be left on waiver wires.
Athletics right fielder Skye Bolt belted a three-run home run in his only at-bat Friday in the Athletics' 10-8 win over the Angels.
Bolt will attempt to carve out a role with an Athletics club in desperate need to find production wherever they can after an offseason that saw the jettisoning of many of their core.
