Because Motter's playing time will most likely be limited, he should be avoided in most fantasy settings. In a corresponding move, Danny Espinosa was placed on waivers for his unconditional release.

Taylor Motter has been optioned by Seattle to Triple-A Tacoma on Monday. In a corresponding move, the Mariners could add Danny Espinosa, who agreed to a Major League contract with the team on Sunday, to the active roster.
