With the Blue Jays looking to give their rotation an extra day of rest, Todd Redmond was given the spot start on Monday afternoon. Redmond was called up to take the spot of the recently "designated for assignment" Jeff Francis. In giving up three runs on four hits over four innings, Redmond LOWERED his ERA to 11.88.
