Tyler Kinley worked a scoreless 10th inning to earn the save in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Yankees.
Fantasy Impact
Kinley grabbed his first save of the season Sunday, as he made a one-run lead hold up in the 10th and helped the Braves avoid a three-game sweep at Yankee Stadium. Kinley lowered his ERA to 3.95 through 47 relief appearances this season. He will return to his typical middle-relief role going forward, so do not look for many more, if any, save chances the rest of the way.
Tyler Kinley (paternity) has rejoined the Braves ahead of Friday's game in St. Louis.
Fantasy Impact
Kinley has been away from the team the last few days on paternity leave, but he will be back in the bullpen for this weekend's series with the Cardinals. Hurston Waldrep was optioned back to Triple-A.
The Braves placed Tyler Kinley on the paternity list.
Fantasy Impact
Kinley will be away from the team for a few days.
Tyler Kinley (elbow) will return from the IL ahead of Wednesday's game against the Padres.
Fantasy Impact
Kinley has been on the shelf for just over two weeks due to an elbow issue. The veteran righty has had a nice season to this point for the Braves, posting a 3.18 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with 31 strikeouts across 28 1/3 innings.
Tyler Kinley (elbow) was placed on the 15-day IL on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Kinley's IL stint will be retroactive to June 8, as his most recent appearance was this past Sunday. The 35-year-old righty is reportedly dealing with elbow inflammation, which is obviously never a good sign. Kinley is in the midst of a solid season out of the Braves' bullpen, sporting a 3.18 ERA and 31-10 K/BB ratio across 28 1/3 innings. JR Ritchie has been recalled in a corresponding move.
