After being designated for assignment by the Miami Marlins earlier this season, Vin Mazzaro had elected free agency and signed with the Atlanta Braves.

Mazzaro tossed only 12 innings for Miami, but improved upon his career ERA of 4.66 by throwing to the tune of 3.75 while allowing an unsustainable amount of baserunners. While he may eventually be called up to bridge the gap between Braves starters and relievers Jim Johnson and Jason Grilli, the chances of this move having any fantasy significance is slim.
