The Orioles have exercised their $9 million team option on Andrew Kittredge for the 2026 season, according to Bob Nightengale of USA Today.
Fantasy Impact
This move was considered a formality, as Baltimore just reacquired Kittredge from the Cubs earlier this week after dealing him to Chicago at the 2025 trade deadline. Kittredge posted a 3.40 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and a 64:11 K:BB over 53 regular-season innings split between the two clubs. He is expected to operate as a high-leverage reliever for Baltimore in 2026 and could be in the mix for the closer role, depending on the team's other offseason bullpen moves.
