Expert NoteView More Notes
DeScalfani was a big sleeper name this time last year and the ERA will make people claim they were right, but his underlying stats suggest that 3.28 ERA was luck-driven. Expect regression in that regard and limited wins as a result of the likely inflated ERA.

Anthony DeSclafani shut down for four weeks
Anthony DeSclafani shut down for four weeks with a UCL sprain.
DeSclafani finished 2016 with a 9-5 record, 3.28 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 105 strikeout in 123 innings. At 26-years old it seems like DeSclafani has maxed out with his potential and is a classic waiver-wire add in standard leagues. Fantasy wise there is not much impact. Once the injuries start to hit take a look at him.
