Beau Burrows reassigned to Pirates minor league camp

Righthander Beau Burrows has been assigned to minor league camp by the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The 22nd overall pick of the 2015 MLB Draft, Burrows has a little big league experience but has not appeared at the highest level since 2021 with the Twins. Things have not gone well in the majors as he has allowed 21 earned runs on 24 hits and an 11:11 BB:K ratio in 17.2 career innings. He is, however, coming off of a solid season in the minors in 2025, pitching to a 2.94 ERA in 49 innings across four different levels. Burrows, who has pitched 781.2 career innings in the minors, will likely open the campaign in Triple-A Indianapolis.
