Durbin played third base for Milwaukee last season and has received some work at second base during spring training. Manager Alex Cora said Tuesday that Durbin will serve as Boston's primary third baseman this season.
Fantasy Impact
Most fantasy platforms will list Durbin as eligible only at third base to begin the year. Additional playing time at second base could grant in-season eligibility at that position. Marcelo Mayer and Isiah Kiner-Falefa are competing for the second base starting role.
