Corey Knebel set a record on Thursday by recording a strikeout in his 38th straight appearance to break a record held by Aroldis Chapman. Knebel locked down his 12th save of the season with a three up and three down ninth inning during the Brewers 4-2 win on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Knebel has been sensational since taking over the closer's role in Milwaukee. With 12 saves, a minuscule 0.96 ERA and 65 strikeouts in just 37 2/3 innings, he is producing like one of the top closers in the league for the first-place Brewers.
