Festa was diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome in September and is now dealing with a right shoulder impingement on top of that. He was shut down in late February, received an injection to address the impingement, and has only recently returned to throwing.
Fantasy Impact
The Twins placed him on the 15-day IL retroactive to March 22 and may take a cautious approach given the injury history.
