Eduardo Salazar has agreed to a minor league deal with the Minnesota Twins. The righthander will presumably head to major league spring training as part of the agreement.
Fantasy Impact
Salazar struggled to an 8.38 ERA and a 2.17 WHIP in 29 innings with the Washington Nationals last season. However, in 2024, the righthander posted a combined 2.76 ERA in 29.1 innings with the Nationals and Dodgers. He has a 5.99 ERA in 70.2 big league innings and a 4.43 ERA across 553 career minor league frames. He'll have an opportunity to break camp with a wide-open Twins' bullpen if he has a good spring.
