Francisco Mejia went 3-for-4 with a single and two doubles against the Rangers on Friday evening. He also drove in two runs, but it was all for naught. Tampa Bay ultimately fell to Texas by a score of 4-3 in the series opener.
Fantasy Impact
Mejia is slashing a solid .293/.337/.402 with 10 RBI, four walks, and 14 strikeouts since the All-Star Break. He isn't a very appealing season-long fantasy catcher, but he's worth adding in DFS formats if you're looking for a cheaper option.
