Gabriel Moreno and the Arizona Diamondbacks agreed to a $2.55 million contract for the 2026 season and have avoided arbitration.
Fantasy Impact
Moreno, who will turn 26 next month, batted .285 with nine home runs and 40 RBI in 309 plate appearances last season in Arizona. Moreno has hit at every level - he's a career .281 hitter in four big league seasons and a .313 hitter in eight minor league campaigns. The young catcher has never played more than 111 games in a season but is a popular breakout candidate in 2026, if he can stay healthy.
