Garrett Cleavinger has avoided arbitration with the Tampa Bay Rays and will make $2.4 million in 2026.
Fantasy Impact
Cleavinger has been sensational after arriving in Tampa at the trade deadline in 2022. In parts of four seasons with the Rays, the lefthander has pitched to a 2.96 ERA with 192 strikeouts in 152 innings. He has also saved eight games in the past two seasons. With Pete Fairbanks now with the Marlins, Cleavinger may be a favorite to become the new closer in Tampa Bay.
