Tigers right-hander Jack Flaherty did not opt out of his contract with the club and will remain with the team in 2026.
Fantasy Impact
Flaherty will earn $20 million in 2026 instead of opting out and heading to the free agent market. The decision is hardly a surprise considering Flaherty's down 2025 campaign that saw him scuffle to a 4.64 ERA, one season after posting a 3.17 ERA in the 2024 season.
