Jalen Beeks and the Texas Rangers have agreed on a one-year contract.

The veteran lefthander joins his sixth different team in, what will be, his eighth major league season in 2026. Beeks had a solid year with the Diamondbacks last season, posting a 3.77 ERA in 61 appearances. He allowed only 42 hits in 57.1 innings with 47 strikeouts. Beeks has a career ERA of 4.31 in 405 innings with the Red Sox, Rays, Rockies, Pirates, and Diamondbacks. He'll be a solid lefthanded option out of the Rangers bullpen in 2026.
