Joe Barlow (finger) has been activated from the IL Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Barlow will return after being out since July 12th. He has pitched more than 1 inning in a few of his rehab appearances. This could just be to get him more work, but could also tell us about the Rangers plan on using him going forward. The Rangers have used a closer by committee, and while Barlow could be a part of that committee, he was removed as the sole closer before going to the IL. He has a 3.26 ERA and 6.82 K/9 in 2022.
