Jordan Romano recovered from finger injury
Jordan Romano (finger) is recovered from his finger injury that sidelined him at the end of last season and will begin Spring Training with no restrictions.
Romano was sidelined with a strained right finger at the end of last season. “My body feels good,” said Romano. “Had a normal offseason, as far as lifting and throwing. I threw off the mound and didn’t really think about it (finger).” Romano is a full go for Spring Training and is expected to set up newly acquired closer Kirby Yates. The 27-year-old owned a 1.23 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and a 21:5 K:BB across 14 2/3 innings in 2020.
