Expert Note
View More NotesA wrist injury limited Albies to just 29 games last season, and affected his performance early in the year before he went on the IL. In other words, there's little reason to draw conclusions from anything he did last year, including his drop in walk rate and increase in strikeout rate. Albies had established a rough 24-15 baseline from 2018-2019, and at 24 years old, there's no reason to expect that floor to decrease. With his power and speed combination, and his locked in strong RBI and runs scored numbers batting near the top of the Braves' lineup, Albies should be either the first second baseman drafted or the second behind DJ LeMahieu, depending on how you want to build your team.

Ozzie Albies went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI as the Braves topped the Dodgers 8-7 in Game 2 of the NLCS on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Albies picked up his first RBI with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning to put the Braves up 6-0. He then took Adam Kolarek deep for a solo shot in the top of the ninth to put the Braves up 8-3. The homer would prove to be a crucial insurance run as the Dodgers mounted a fierce comeback in the ninth inning only to fall short by one run. The second baseman has now homered in back-to-back games and is having himself a fine postseason with a .310/.344/.552 batting line with two home runs and four RBI over 29 at-bats. The Braves will look to extend their series lead on Wednesday when they face Julio Urias in Game 3.
