Astros right-hander Ronel Blanco pitched two scoreless innings on 36 pitches for Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
While only half of his 36 pitches went for strikes, Blanco managed to pitch a pair of scoreless frames before the game was called due to weather. Blanco, who could return to the Astros' rotation once healthy, has been sidelined since undergoing Tommy John surgery after nine starts in 2025 and is expected to return in late July, although early August could also be a possibility depending on his build-up.
