After fouling a ball off his right foot in the fourth inning and getting hit by a pitch on the hand in the ninth, Torkelson received negative X-rays on his foot. He did not undergo testing on his hand, as there is no concern. It appears he has avoided a serious injury and will likely be in the lineup for Thursday's Game 3 of the American League Wild Card series against the Cleveland Guardians.
