Expert NoteView More Notes
2020 was the culmination of everything we've ever wanted out of Turner. Both the barrel rate and the line-drive rate jumped en route to a .335 batting average. Turner famously went without a stolen base for several weeks before finishing tied for fourth in the majors with 12 for the season. Perhaps 2020 was a two-month hot streak with the bat, but Turner's stolen base upside combined with even 80% of last year's gains make him an essential part of any roto strategy come draft day.

Trea Turner and the Nationals avoid arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $13 million deal.
Turner still has one year left of salary arbitration, but settles for $13 million for the upcoming season. He was terrific in 2020, slashing .335/.394/.588 with 12 home runs, 41 RBI, 46 runs scored and 12 stolen bases across 59 games. Turner is expected to be one of the top players off the board in upcoming fantasy drafts and currently sixth overall in the latest expert consensus draft rankings.
