France walked off the Tigers in the final game of the regular season with a bases loaded single to break a 4-4 tie off Gregory Soto. He went through some struggles at points in the season, but still slashed .276/.340/.437 on the season with 20 home runs. The Mariners are going to need players like France to step up in the Wildcard series against the Blue Jays.
