Angels' CF Mike Trout went 3-5 with a single, a double, and a solo home run in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Blue Jays. Jack Mannis Thu, Apr 8th | Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. has some slight labral tearing, which is consistent with a subluxation injury, according to general manager A.J. Preller. Preller adds that the Padres will go the rest-and-rehab route and aim for a return in 10 days before considering surgery but that doctors do not feel Tatis would be put at additional long-term risk by playing again this season. Mike Maher - The Birds Blitz Tue, Apr 6th
Mike Trout went 1-4 with a two-run home run in an Angels' 4-2 loss to the Astros on Tuesday. Jack Mannis Tue, Apr 6th | Manager Jayce Tingler declined to comment on Padres star shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr.'s shoulder injury following Monday's game, leaving plenty up in the air. The skipper did, however, say that Tatis would head for an MRI and further evaluation on Tuesday. The injury occurred when the young phenom struck out swinging and fell down in serious pain. Andersen Pickard Tue, Apr 6th
Mike Trout went 2-3 with a solo homer, one RBI, one run scored, and two walks during Monday's victory over the Astros. Jack Mannis Tue, Apr 6th | Fernando Tatis Jr. left Monday's game against the San Francisco Giants with a left shoulder subluxation. Ari Koslow Tue, Apr 6th

Notes | ||
Tatis Jr. suffered a a shoulder subluxation which looked incredibly painful and which put him on the IL. He's reportedly feeling better and should return soon, but there are obvious concerns about his ability to stay healthy and avoid surgery this year, considering that he's already been bothered by the shoulder twice. You're happily starting him whenever he's in the lineup, but if you can sell him at anywhere close to his spring value, you should. Dan Harris - FantasyPros
The Padres are insisting that Fernando Tatis Jr. will only miss the minimum 10 days, but that feels a bit far-fetched. Even if the young star were to return right away, all it would take is one swing for him to re-aggravate the issue. Because of this, fantasy managers should consider trading him for players ranked within the top-40 overall. A swap for Xander Bogaerts or Bo Bichette would be a decent hedge against Tatis' health.
