| Cunningham earned All-NBA First Team honors in 2025-26, averaging 23.9 points, 9.9 assists and 5.5 rebounds over 64 games as Detroit claimed the East's top seed. The 2026-27 projections give him 24.8 points, 9.6 assists and 5.8 rebounds in 35.5 minutes across 73 games, raising his totals to 1,812 points and 699 assists. Two weaknesses persist: turnovers are projected to climb from 3.7 to 4.0 per game, and his field goal percentage is projected to stay at 46.1%. With the Pistons' roster largely intact he remains one of the most dependable assist sources available, though 73 games would be a high mark given his recent injury history.
