LaMelo Ball has been traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Naz Reid, a 2033 first round pick, three first round pick swaps, and three second round picks. Charlotte is also sending Josh Green to Minnesota.
Fantasy Impact
This is a massive trade for the Hornets who are coming off of a promising year with their young core. Now that will need to be rebuilt, and LaMelo will look to give the Timberwolves a fierce backcourt duo alongside Anthony Edwards. He won’t be the No.1 option for a team anymore, but Ant should open things up for LaMelo on offense.
