Sergio Rodriguez (hamstring) will miss the rest of the season

by Sean Fitzpatrick | Sat, Apr 8th 11:53am EDT

Sergio Rodriguez has been ruled out for the rest of the season and the final three games due to a hamstring injury that held him out of the last six games. Rodriguez finished the season as the backup point guard to T.J. McConnell and finished with 7.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists per game this season. (Keith Pompey on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Rodriguez opened the season as the starting point guard but injuries and T.J. McConnell's strong play pushed him to the bench. McConnell is a must own at this point in the season and will likely open next season as the starting point guard. Rodriguez is a free agent so his destination is unknown with Jerryd Bayless and Ben Simmons coming back to Philadelphia.
