Jonas Valanciunas back in the starting lineup

After losing his spot in the starting lineup late in the series against the Bucks, Jonas Valanciunas found himself back in the starting lineup for Game 1 against Cleveland. Valanciunas played 20 minutes, scoring only six points and grabbing an equal amount of boards. The Raptors were overmatched and lost Game 1 to the Cavs 116-105. Both teams will meet up for Game 2 on Wednesday night in Cleveland with the Cavs up in the series 1-0.
Fantasy Impact:
Valanciunas failed to impress and fell below his average of 10 points and 10 rebounds that he had against Cleveland during the regular season. In all fairness to Valanciunas, really nobody outside of Kyle Lowry, Serge Ibaka or P.J. Tucker got anything going. If he starts, he does occasionally show flashes of brilliance which can benefit those partaking in DFS tournament play as most tend to shy away from Valanciunas. However, it will be interesting to see if Norman Powell is re-inserted into the starting lineup in Game 2 due to being tremendously outpaced by the much faster Cavaliers on Monday night.
