Bobby Portis ties for team leader in scoring Monday night

by Christopher Berg | Bucks Correspondent | Tue, Dec 18th 9:25am EST

Bobby Portis scored 16 points on 7-for-14 shooting, including 1-for-4 from beyond the arc in Monday night's 121-96 loss to the Thunder. Portis added two rebounds to his stat line over 23 minutes of action off the bench. His 16 points are his most since return from injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Portis has not been shy about getting his shots up since returning from injury. He's attempted at least 11 shots in three straight games now, which has led to double-digit scoring twice. His two rebounds were a bit disappointing, but it seems this is the direction Portis is headed. He knows he's on a bad team and seems content to just put up as many shots as he can when he's on the court. As a result of this he could be a high-risk DFS option, but for right now he's not usable in any other format. Keep an eye on him as the season progresses to see if he can find some level of consistency as he works his way back.
