Fantasy Impact: Leuer was acquired by the Bucks in mid June for Tony Snell and the 30th pick of the 2019 NBA Draft to the Pistons. He will not take the court with the Bucks, and will try to latch onto another team this offseason. Leuer averaged 3.8 points, and 2.4 rebounds in 41 games for the Pistons last season.

George Hill and the Bucks agreed to a three-year, $29 million contract. (Source: Shams Charania on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The Bucks just lost Malcolm Brogdon to the Pacers, but were able to solidify their bench by retaining Hill. He will continue to play a key reserve role for the Bucks, and figures to backup starting point guard Eric Bledsoe. Hill averaged 7.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists in 60 games for the Cavaliers/Bucks last season.

Fantasy Impact: The Pacers have found their replacement for Bojan Bogdanovic in Malcolm Brogdon. Last year, Brogdon averaged 15.6 points per game, but that will increase next year with the Pacers. Malcolm Brogdon should be a sleeper candidate next year in drafts.

Mirotic has decided to sign a contract with Barcelona of the EuroLeague. (Source: Shams Charania on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Mirotic was rumored to be in the market for a $40-$50 million NBA deal, but ultimately decided to sign overseas. The role player market just got a little thinner, and it's not clear at this time if Mirotic has any future plans to return to the NBA. Mirotic averaged 15.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.7 blocks in 46 games for the Bucks/Pelicans last season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was awarded the 2018-19 NBA MVP award.

Fantasy Impact: Although Paul George was a finalist for the award, the MVP was clearly a two-horse race between Antetokounmpo and last year’s MVP, James Harden. Harden averaged a ridiculous 36.1 points per game and led the league in scoring, but it was Antetokounmpo’s gaudy overall numbers that ultimately gave him the edge. He averaged 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.5 blocks while leading the Bucks to the best record in the NBA, at 60-22.

Khris Middleton is declining his $13 million player option. He is expected to command either a five-year max from the Bucks or a four-year max from another team on the open market. (Source: Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Middleton's fantasy relevance next year hinges on if he stays with the Bucks or if he leaves for a new team. He has the opportunity for more fantasy output if he signs with a team that has a less solidified lineup than the Bucks. If he re-signs, he should put up similar numbers from last season.

Eric Bledsoe stuffs the stat sheet in Wednesday nights win over the Pistons. He finished with 27 points, six assists, four rebounds, and three steals, in 28 minutes.

Fantasy Impact: Bledsoe shot the ball 11-for-19, and continues to show how underrated he has been all year for the Bucks. While playing alongside two All-Stars, the Bucks point guard will try to continue to impose his will on the Pistons, and take a 3-0 lead on Saturday the 20th.

Brook Lopez had seven points, eight rebounds, and three blocks in 30 minutes on Saturday. He shot 2-of-8 from the field with one three-pointer during the 133-128 loss to the Nets.

Fantasy Impact: Lopez has started all 80 games for the Bucks this season. He has been held to single-digits in each of the last two games despite still playing about 30 minutes per night. If he suits up for the last two games and other key players are out for rest, Lopez could see increased output to finish off the regular season.

Ersan Ilyasova (back) is likely to play on Thursday against the Sixers. (Source: Matt Velazquez on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Ilyasova should be back out there on Thursday, which will result in less minutes for dynamic rookie DJ Wilson.

Tony Snell (ankle) is out for Monday's matchup with the Nets. (Source: NBA Injury Report)

Fantasy Impact: Snell has missed four straight now and could be out until the playoffs at this point. Giannis and Khris Middleton are in danger of missing tonight as well so look out for Sterling Brown in DFS if both fail to get out there.

Category: Injury Updates

Sterling Brown scored eight points and grabbed 11 rebounds in his first start of the season for the Bucks Tuesday night. He also contributed three assists, one steal, and one block in 26 minutes of play.

Fantasy Impact: Brown made a solid contribution in his first start. The Bucks are dealing with numerous injuries and may tinker with the starting lineup down the home stretch of the regular season, but Brown should continue to be a part of the rotation. He doesn't have much fantasy value but could be useful in extremely deep leagues or as a DFS punt.

Pau Gasol will miss both Tuesday and Wednesday's games due to an ankle injury and now his fifth game in a row. Ersan Ilyasova will be stepping in for more minutes as Nikola Miortic is also out. (Source:

Fantasy Impact: Gasol is a minimal part of the Bucks rotation behind starting center Brook Lopez and sharpshooters Ersan Ilysova and Nikola Mirotic. Gasol is hoping to shed some wisdom and lead the Bucks to the NBA Finals.

Pat Connaughton scored 13 points Tuesday as the Bucks topped the Lakers 115-101. He also added eight rebounds and four assists in 36 minutes of play.

Fantasy Impact: Connaughton continues to contribute off the bench for the Bucks. He has seen significant minutes off the bench lately and has scored at least 13 points in three of his last five games. He can be considered in extremely deep leagues or as a salary saver in DFS.

Donte DiVincenzo will not play on Sunday versus the 76ers due to a heel injury. (Source: Stephen Watson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: DiVincenzo has been in-and-out of the lineup for weeks now with a heel issue so leave him off fantasy lineups or daily lineups. Pat Connaughton will pick up a couple more minutes.

Category: Injury Updates

D.J. Wilson had five points and four rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Mavericks. He shot 1-of-6 from the field with his lone make coming from beyond the arc. He added an assist and two blocks in the win.

Fantasy Impact: Wilson's playing time off the bench for the Bucks could be reduced with the addition of Nikola Mirotic. Wilson has shown great improvement this season and could be used as a defensive presence when needed down the stretch and in the playoffs.

Jason Smith was dealt to the Pelicans along with Stanley Johnson and multiple second-round picks in exchange for Nikola Mirotic. (Source: Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Smith has been out for multiple weeks with a knee injury. He will fill out the end of the bench for the Pelicans and will not hold any fantasy value unless they deal more of their big men.

Category: Transactions

Stanley Johnson was on the Bucks for less than 24 hours before they flipped him in a trade to the Pelicans along with Jason Smith and multiple second-round picks for Nikola Mirotic. (Source: Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Johnson should have more fantasy value in New Orleans and could even crack the starting unit down the stretch. He could be worth a speculative add in deeper leagues.

Thon Maker traded to Detroit

Wed, Feb 6th 11:49am EST
By Aaron Larson

The Bucks have agreed to trade Thon Maker away to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Stanley Johnson (Source: Adrian Wojnarowski)

Fantasy Impact: Maker has only seen the court sparingly with Milwaukee this season and hasn't played in the past six games since requesting to be traded. He'll likely see more time on the court in Detroit, but fantasy owners should take a wait-and-see approach before acquiring him.
