Josh Richardson to sit out last game of the year

by Matt Seidl | Heat Correspondent | Wed, Apr 10th 2:13pm EDT

Josh Richardson will sit out the last game of the season against the Nets on Wednesday night. (Miami Heat Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Not too much of a surprise here, especially since the Heat are now eliminated from the playoffs. Though some small injuries throughout the year, Richardson had a career year while playing in 73 games. He had career high's in points (16.6), assists (4.1), and rebounds (3.6) (ESPN Stats). He has a bright future and big role to play for the Miami Heat, who should be expecting a roster changes, with some unproductively large contracts in Whiteside, Dragic, and Anderson, to name a few.
