Kemba Walker to be reevaluated by team doctors on Wednesday

by Andrew Chambers | Sun, Mar 1st 8:55pm EST

Kemba Walker will be reevaluated by the doctor who did his knee surgery on Wednesday, according to reports from Charlotte Observer. Walker, who hasn't played since January 23rd while recovering from surgery after a damaged meniscus, could return to action sometime in the next two weeks if everything has gone according to plan. In the meantime, Mo Williams has been doing a good job filling in for the young point guard. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Walker is only owned in a little over 60 percent of ESPN leagues, and if he is still out there in your league I would grab him immediately, especially if you have already secured a playoff birth. When Walker returns, the Hornets will still be in the playoff race, meaning he still has meaningful basketball left to play this season. Charlotte would love to return to the playoffs for back-to-back seasons, but it just isn't going to happen unless Walker can get back on the court soon.
