Mavericks guard Courtney Lee suffered a calf injury and underwent surgery during the NBA shutdown, according to league sources. (Marc Stein on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Dallas is now down both Lee and PG Jalen Brunson as the league is set to resume at the end of July. They’ll be thin in the backcourt and are likely to look at multiple options to provide depth. Both Jamal Crawford and J.R. Smith are available free agents and could be options for the Mavericks as they head down to Orlando as the current 7-seed in the Western Conference playoff standings.
