Luc Mbah a Moute has cleared the coronavirus protocol and is due to arrive in Orlando today, per coach Mike D’Antoni. In speaking on his joining the team, D’Antoni said, “He’ll be a great presence in the locker room.” (Mark Berman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Moute had a productive year with the Rockets during the 2017-18 NBA season, where he played in 61 contests and averaged 25.6 minutes of playing time, 7.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game. Last year he played in four games with the Clippers before being waived. Moute could fill in at the four or five, but with the amount of depth the Rockets have in their front-court, it is unlikely that he sees meaningful minutes come playoff time. He is a natural fade in all formats at this time.
